"Pecking Order"

I grabbed these 2 shots from my back window. After hanging the bird feeder on the fence I soon observed some of the unwritten rules of Nature regarding birds: There is a definite pecking order that favors bigger birds. (For this shot I used my Canon 5D digital slr with a Canon 70-200 zoom and a 1.5x tele-extender).

I have some free time this week to do with what I choose, so I think I will venture out and shoot some of the soon to be gone wildflowers that are now at about their peak for this year here in Central Texas. I should have some new images posted by the end of the week.
